NFL Showdown 2017 week 16

On a special Saturday night game of Christmas week, NFL Showdown 2017 week 16 matches the football acumen of voice talent ANDY BARNETT against voiceover talent CHUCK DAVIS.

Barnett is taking Minnesota while Davis is rooting for Green Bay. Merry Christmas football fans!

ABOUT ANDY BARNETT

Andy has been acting since he was a kid (and by some accounts he still is a kid). Some voice actors claim versatility, but Andy embodies it. His natural conversational voice is friendly, laid back, just like your buddy from college or your next door neighbor. More than one client has suggested he kind of sounds like Jon Hamm at times. But don’t let that fool you, Andy also has the vocal gravitas to do everything from a younger sound to a deep masculine blue-collar Midwesterner, from a straight announcer to an international neutral accent, and last but not least, a variety of character voices. Just don’t ask him to sing or dance (the poor guy can’t carry a note, and his coordination is rather cringeworthy).

ABOUT CHUCK DAVIS

“I come from the same place your customers do. A family, a home…a real life. Let me tell ‘em about your stuff! I’ve found it’s really pretty good!”

Chuck is a real, straight ahead performer with a wry edge, a wink if you will. No announcers here….unless you really want one. In that case he’ll hold a quick séance and channel one for you. Chuck came to voice-over acting by way of music, He’s been a professional musician for most of his life and a major market radio Creative Director. Chucks career so far has led him to perform for national TV campaigns for the likes of Osteo Bi-Flex, WORX Air, Cricket Wireless, The US Dept of Homeland Security, Hasbro and Playskool, He’s the ongoing regional voice for scores of clients including The Central Florida Chevy Dealers, Foxwoods Resort Casino, Trump Resorts and many more.
