O’Connell also noted that he has updated the branding on his web site. While he retains the popular “Your Friendly, Neighborhood Voiceover Talent” tagline that he’s had for decades, he updated the fonts and colors of his logo to better reflect that tag line.

Barnett’s work as a voice talent for Wendy’s Restaurant and their “Double Stack 4 for $4” spot earned Andy the award.

Andy, whose awarding winning spot also featured voice actor Michael Schwalbe, was originally nominated in two categories including Best Voiceover in the category of Outstanding Promo Demo Reel.

The Voice Arts® Awards provide international acknowledgement of the extraordinary skill and artistry that goes into the voiceover acting and the associated roles of creative director, copywriter, producer, audio engineer, casting director, voice director and others. The first The Voice Arts® Awards were given out in 2014.

ABOUT ANDY BARNETT

Andy has been acting since he was a kid (and by some accounts he still is a kid). Some voice actors claim versatility, but Andy embodies it. Bruce Miles has been one of only a handful of voice talents in the country most often selected as the voice for political commercials. He has voiced political commercials across America at all levels of political office from city and town political races all the way to the race for the White House (as seen below).

Whether for television, radio or web, political commercials have a tremendous impact on how candidates are viewed. Parents know well the series MY LITTLE PONY; Matt recently played the principal character Dragon Lord Torch in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  On a less animated note, Matt completed a commercial voice-over project for Clearly Contacts as well as narration work for AUDI, VERIZON, GO DADDY, TREX and TELUS.

America’s Friendly, Neighborhood Voiceover Talent is an AWARD WINNING VOICE TALENT…again!  O’Connell narrated two promotional videos that were awarded 1st and 2nd prize among scores of national entries for Best Auction Promotional Video by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AUCTIONEERS, in conjunction with USA Today newspaper.  Peter also narrated a series of videos for KNAUF INSULATION that will be featured in about 1,800 Lowes Home Improvement stores nationwide.

DUSTIN EBAUGH
Las Vegas-based Dustin Ebaugh has been rolling sevens on commercial voiceover work including spots for 3M, UBER, THE BELMONT STAKES, MANDALAY BAY and JENNIE-O TURKEY to name a few.  Dustin has also run the table on explainer video narrations, having voiced explainers for HP and MICROTEL.  He also recently completed an on-hold messaging project for DICK’S SPORTING GOODS.

BOB SOUER
Major League Baseball’s SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS have continued their successful association with national voice-over talent Bob Souer this season.  The 2014 World Series Champions called on Bob to narrate a television feature package on Metallica and another television feature on AT&T Park. An Audie-award winning audiobook narrator, Bob recently narrated “THE FEVER OF 1712”, which was featured in a give-away on Goodreads.com.

TOM TEST
Tom recently worked for clients in Indonesia, Switzerland, Israel, Dominican Republic and Spain. Tom is the national TV commercial voice for HARIBO GUMMI BEARS and WILSON PRO TOUR golf balls.  In the Midwest, Tom is also the voice of the “CALL BEFORE YOU DIG” radio public service announcements for gas utilities in the Midwest.  He’s also voiced spots for numerous political candidates in Connecticut, Utah and Pennsylvania.

DAVE MCRAE
Dave recently wrapped up narrating his second season of the popular Canadian TV series “WHAT’S FOR SALE? WITH A VIEW”.  He’s also continued his character voice work on the US version of the kids cartoon “FIREMAN SAM”, and a few guest characters on the kids cartoon “DOKI”.  He is also the featured voice-over talent on national Canadian broadcast commercials for SCOTIABANK, ROGERS MASTERCARD, THE SHOPPING CHANNEL and TOYOTA.

JAMES CLAMP
Talk about an international voice talent! Viewers of America’s Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim channel have been hearing James Clamp’s commercial work for BURGER KING.  In the UK and Europe, travel site TRIVAGO have been enjoying James’ voice work.  And Japanese TV network NHK has featured James’ voice on a series of documentaries.  As for the rest of the world, you’re hearing James as the voice on corporate videos darn near everywhere else!

CHUCK DAVIS
Recent non-broadcast projects that Chuck has voices include projects for EXXON-MOBIL, GE, ALLSTATE, TEXTRON, GENENTECH – XOLAIR and ESBRIET and CUSTOM BUILDING PRODUCTS.  His TV promo work in India for FOX INTERNATIONAL properties Star World and FX continues, featuring promo spots for familiar U.S. programs including Quanitco, Jimmy Kimmel Live and MasterChef.  Chuck’s long-running national spots for PREVAGIN is a approaching 5-thousand airings and will continue at least through August.

ROWELL GORMON
NEBRASKA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER recently called on Rowell to narrate and explainer video on preparation for radiation therapy.  CITYNET FIBER OPTICS NETWORK secured Rowell’s voice talents for a recent TV spot and explainer video.  US Real Estate Investment Management firm HOME UNION secured Rowell for a series of radio spots.  Lastly, If you’ve downloaded the game series from iTunes called “CAMPING WITH GRANDPA“, we’re pleased to tell you Rowell IS Grandpa!

SCOTT BURNS
You may know that ALASKA AIRLINES recently purchased Virgin Airways (making Alaska Airlines the U.S.’s 5th largest airline) but you may not know that the voice acting talents of MVO: The Voice-Over Guys’ Scott Burns is prominently featured in the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan commercial currently airing.  He’s also featured in new voice work for LIONEL TRAINS, JERRY’S HOME IMPROVEMENT CENTER Center in Eugene Oregon and CASSEL PROMOTIONS AND SIGNS in Spokane.

CHRISTIAN ROSSELLI
Former ESPN commentator MIKE LUPICA is producing a new sports podcast and our own Christian Rosselli was booked as the promo voice for this national program.  Additionally, Christian recently voiced a new commercial campaign for UNITED HEALTHCARE; he has been their national commercial voice for sometime now.  He’s also voicing national campaigns for VELUX SKYLIGHTS and PURINA.

DAVE DEANDREA
If you’ve seen the national TV spot for SIMPLY POTATOES then you’ve heard Dave DeAndrea.  If you’re in Florida, you’ve heard Dave as the TV voice for CITY FURNITURE there and if you’re in the Chicagoland, you’ve heard Dave as the TV and radio voice for BLAINS FARM & FLEET.  Also, if you need a sound-a-like voice for Liam Neeson or Morgan Freeman, Dave DeAndrea’s your guy!

BRUCE MILES
SAMSUNG GALAXY SURFBOARDS produced an exciting promotional video that featured world champion surfer Gabriel Medina as well as the narration talents of world champion voice talent Bruce Miles.  Bruce also continues to add narration to an upcoming virtual reality video game called “Dead and Buried” by OCULUS VR, a Facebook company. He plays the old timer who teaches you how to become a successful gunfighter. He’s also the town undertaker who will take care of you if don’t succeed.

JOHNNY GEORGE
Johnny’s national client, JD BYRIDER, a franchised Buy here- Pay here dealership has been ramping up their Summer Deals. Johnny has been JD Byrider’s voice for going on 10 years. Among several e-learning and narrative projects that have been keeping Johnny busy in his NEW STUDIO in Arizona, he has also been recording a on-going project for the CHRISTIAN HOLY CITY CHURCH in NYC as they expand their marketing to the American-Chinese community.

GEORGE WASHINGTON III
George has been king of the radio recently doing regional radio commercials for MCDONALD’S  and the UNITED STATES CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION SERVICES, not to mention car spots for GORDON CHEVROLET in Philadelphia and JD BYRIDER in South Carolina, Arkansas and Texas. He’s also done narration work for HARRIS TEETER, ALCON and MASTERCARD.

JORDAN REYNOLDS
Jordan continues to hit it out of the voice-over park with commercial voiceover projects for BOJANGLES and THUMBTACK.COM well as more narration projects for MOTOROLA and AUDI. Additionally, while you may not hear him say “Attention Wal-Mart Shoppers…” Jordan is the voice you hear in Wal-Mart stores promoting SAMSUNG TVs. No word on whether it involves blue light specials but we know he sounds good!

CHRISTIAN ROSSELLI: Why yes, that WAS Christian’s voice you heard on United Healthcare spots during Super Bowl 50 and the OSCARS®. He also booked a new TV campaign for an NBC comedy streaming service called “Seeso”, which is also airing nationally.

SCOTT BURNS: Taking advantage of Scott’s great character and impression abilities, Miller Beer used Scott to channel a Johnny Carson-esque character. He’s also done spots for Foster Farm Corn Dogs and Car Toys Car Audio.

CHUCK DAVIS: You’ve likely heard Chuck on national TV spots for Prevagin. He’s also been narrating videos for Zaterain’s and Textron Corp.

PETER K. O’CONNELL: Peter’s career recently went to the dogs as he played a dog in a radio spot voiced for TLC Pet Food (no fire hydrants were harmed in the making of that commercial). Northeast regional grocery chain Tops Markets also sought Peter’s character voice talents as a coupon machine for their TV campaign.

JOHNNY GEORGE: Always an Indianapolis Colt fan, Johnny nonetheless has moved his renamed Skyline Studios from Indiana’s capital to Mesa, Arizona (something about ‘warmer weather’). He is also installing a brand new booth in his new studio for even better audio quality.

DAVE DEANDREA: Dave is the regional voice of Blain’s Farm & Fleet (TV & Radio), QuickChek (Regional Radio) as well as being the voice of The Narrator on the game, “Hard West”.

BRUCE MILES: One of the newest Voice-Over Guys has been very busy serving as the voice of the gingerbread man for Target’s 2015 holiday shopping campaign, the national TV voice of Wheat Thins and the voice of Mary Brown’s Famous Chicken and Taters up in Canada.

DUSTIN EBAUGH: The other MVO newbie as also been hustling in the studio, recently completing an e-learning voice-over project for Pepsi while also serving as the television promo voice for Brighthouse Networks in Florida.

JORDAN REYNOLDS: Things in Denver have been hopping for Jordan. In addition to watching his Broncos win the Super Bowl, he voiced a national TV spot for University of Miami, he voiced (and sang) on a national radio spot for Thumbtack.com, did an Wal-Mart in-store ad for Samsung TVs, a narration for Audi and a web ad for Motorola. Phew!

DAVE MCRAE: Currently the promo voice for Travel and Escape Network in Canada, Dave recently also became the network voice of Smithsonian Channel Canada. He is also narrating the second season of “What’s For Sale With A View”. Dave has spots playing across Canada for Itravel2000, OLG and Wal-Mart.

TOM TEST: Lucky Kansans can thank Tom for reminding them to get their lottery tickets as he is the commercial voice for Kansas Lottery as well as Snapper/Simplicity Mowers. He’s also recently completed narrations for Shell, TransAmerica Molex, MetLife, Thompson/Reuters as well as BMO Harris.

ROWELL GORMAN: Rowell continues to be the voice of CarQuest’s Message On-Hold as well as being the voice of Grandpa in a popular series of Game Apps for children produced by FairLady Media.

JAMES CLAMP: James has been a very busy narrator working on an audiobook for Brilliance – Little Sister as well as medical narrations for Gilead, Novo Nordisk, Unilever and Novartis. Immigrants arriving in Denmark hear James as the voice on the government’s Welcome video and his featured on many explainer videos for Samsung Galaxy S6. You’ve likely also heard him on the BASF TV spots.

BOB SOUER: Continuing his successful run last season as the radio commercial voice for Major League Baseball’s San Francisco Giants, Bob has just completed a series of spots for the Giants 2016 season. Additional, he has been exceedingly busy (in a good way) recording audiobooks (he is an Audie winner, after all) for publishers including Blackstone, Christian Audio and Tantor.

MATT COWLRICK: If you haven’t seen Matt’s recent terrific national commercial for NIVEA for Men (LINK) you can watch it here. His voice is also featured on spots for Allegiance Healthcare, GGRM Law Firm and Randolph Hospital. He has also the narration voice for Dairy Australia, Xero Accounting and Bosch.
