Dave DeAndrea and Bob Souer highlight one of the longest rivalries in football during week 2 of MVO: The Voice-Over Guys’ Football Showdown!
Including two post season game, Minnesota and Green Bay have played each other 111 times. DAVE DEANDREA‘s Packers have won 59 games with BOB SOUER‘s Vikings having won 50 games (the teams have tied twice).
These games get particularly interesting later in the season when either Green Bay or Minnesota’s weather can play a big part in the outcome (their Christmas Eve matchup in Green Bay could prove to be such a “snow bowl”).
Likely this early in September, fans will only need to pack a light jacket (unless rain plays a factor) as the Packers play in Minnesota against a Vikings team that is considered by many to be real contender in the NFC this year.

He was recently listed as one of the Top 20 Male Video Game Voice Actors of All Time by IMDb.
His innate ability to subtly shift the rich tone of his voice makes him sound believable and genuine no matter the style, whether it’s the warmth needed for a hospital commercial, a “corporate casual” sound for presentations, a bit of grit for a Sam Elliot-esque read, or a young and energetic sports spot…and Dave perfectly captures the “guy next door” sound…if the guy you live next door to just happens to have an amazing voice. He has an array of animated character voices, and he even does a Morgan Freeman impersonation that had The Ellen Show hiring him for a segment.
Dave’s early 80’s realization that he just wasn’t cut out to be a professional break-dancer led him to a love for being a scratch/mix DJ and spinning records instead of spinning on his head. He soon grew roots in radio and discovered a natural talent in the production room which garnered him lots of attention as the commercials he wrote, voiced, and produced were being requested by listeners more than the music the station played!
From those days of splicing reel to reel tape to now editing with the click of a mouse, Dave has translated his talents into a successful international career as a voice actor and producer. Dave’s studio is on the beautiful Southern Oregon coast where he resides with his lovely wife, Kristen, and their family.
