For those of us in the Northeastern United States, the first day of Major League Baseball means winter is almost (almost!) over.
The snow, the cold, the ice…almost behind us.
For major league players, it means playing early games in waaay colder weather than is pleasant.
Oh well, any sign of spring is a happy sign! Play ball!!
