MVO: The Voice-Over Guys’ likes to check-in with our male voice talents and today we talk with DAN FRIEDMAN about a recent voiceover project he voiced.

stride gum1. Can you tell us about a recent voiceover project you’ve recently enjoyed working on? Who was it for?

I recently did a voiceover for Stride Gum – Peppermint, which airs nationally on Cartoon Network.

2. What was the project all about?

I’m the voice of a bear who is looking for either a lost cub or possibly a friend named “Peppermint.”

3. How did the project come to you? Agent? Website? Past client?

This one came to me through Atlas Talent. I was selected from my audition.

4. What was the most interesting or enjoyable part of this project for you?

This one was especially interesting because while I do a pretty good amount of commercial work, I rarely do character voices and this was a silly high-pitched character voice.

The client was GREAT to work with and I recorded and matched the timing to picture all from my studio at home. The client directed over the phone and I sent the takes immediately following the session.

The concept was fun and I was honored to be a part of it. Check it out here: http://sound4vo.com/portfolio-item/stride-gum-peppermint/
