MVO: The Voice-Over Guys’ likes to check-in with our male voice talents and today we talk with DUSTIN EBAUGH about a recent voiceover project he voiced.
1. Can you tell us about a recent voiceover project you’ve recently enjoyed working on? Who was it for?
I got to do a live announce job at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for Rodan+Fields Gala event. It was exhilarating!
2. What was the project all about?
I brought the RFx Circle winners on stage and announced all their names with my friend Jack and I trading off on 139 people. It was quick once we started. I really enjoyed being live. The MGM Grand Garden Arena was completely full. There were no empty seats, so it was an impressive crowd.
3. How did the project come to you? Agent? Website? Past client?
Actually, my friend (and fellow voice actor) Melissa Moats recommended me to the agency that hired me. I am grateful to her for that. I make a habit of referring her and my other friends to clients when I’m not what they’re looking for; especially the guys in MVO.
4. What was the most interesting or enjoyable part of this project for you?
I think just being there with the vibe. The energy of the crowd was amazing! These folks for fired up. It’s certainly a lot different than working in my booth on a daily basis. I was really blessed to work with such professional and organized people at the event. It could have been chaos, but it ran like a well-oiled machine.
