What’s New With DAN FRIEDMAN Spring 2019 is part of a series in which MVO: The Voice-Over Guys checks-in with one of our male voiceover talents to learn more about a recent media project he has voiced. Here’s what Sean shared with us.

DAN FRIEDMAN First a Voice Talent Now A Rockstar1. You mentioned a really cool voiceover project in your recent MVO: The Voiceover Guys update. Can you talk about who the project was for and where it was heard or seen?

Not really voiceover, but a huge personal accomplishment. I sang on stage for the first time:

2. What made you get up on stage to sing?

This is something I have always wanted to do and I finally decided it was time.

3. Were there any technical or performance challenges during your performance?

I am very familiar with working on stages and with bands as my career began working with live sound. However, since my role was to be the singer, this was the first time I didn’t have to be responsible for the entire production and, better yet, I didn’t have to do any heavy lifting.

4. Is there anything else you would like us to know about your first singing gig?

Singing is now a part of what I do and I look forward to incorporating it more into my professional endeavors.
