What’s New With SEAN CALDWELL Fall 2019 is part of a series in which MVO: The Voice-Over Guys checks-in with one of our male voiceover talents to learn more about a recent media project he has voiced. Here’s what Sean shared with us.
1. You mentioned a really cool voiceover project in your recent MVO: The Voiceover Guys update. Can you talk about who the project was for and where it was heard or seen?
The Cleveland Clinic engaged me to voice various training projects to help them serve their patients better.
2. What made the media production’s content interesting from your perspective?
There was some practical advice about preventing the spread of disease and colds. I now wash my hands for 30 seconds or longer and am occasionally asked if I’m a surgeon or something in public restrooms and please get out of the way.
3. As the voice talent in the media project, were there any technical or performance challenges during this voiceover recording session?
There were a few medical terms that were pronounced a few different ways in online dictionaries or YouTube videos. I circled back with the client to find out their preferred way of saying them.
4. Is there anything else you would like us to know about this voiceover project?
If you end up sick and visit the Cleveland Clinic, I hope you find my projects help credibly inform you and that you get better. And that you have good insurance.
