What’s New With DUSTIN EBAUGH August 2023 is part of a series in which MVO: The Voice-Over
Guys checks-in with one of our male voiceover talents to learn more about a recent
media project he has voiced. Here’s what Dustin shared with us.
Q. You mentioned a really cool voiceover project in your recent MVO: The Voiceover
Guys update. Can you talk about who the project was for and where it was heard or
seen?
A: It’s a radio campaign for KFC, consisting of a couple of spots I voiced.
Q. What made the media production’s content especially interesting from your
perspective?
A: I got to play two different characters for the commercials instead of doing the
announcer, which is always fun for me. These were great characters.
Q. As the voice talent in your media project, were there any kinds of special ways you
prepared for your voiceover performance? Or anything unique you had to execute from
a technical standpoint?
A: I just made sure to listen to the director and give him what he wanted for the KFC. I
didn’t get to play The Colonel, but it was still a very fun job!
Q. Briefly, are there any other recent voiceover projects you’ve done that you want to
share with us?
A: Yes, I recently voiced the third (or 4 th , depending on your provider) season of Crimes
Gone Viral for Investigation Discovery. I love this show and working with Benita, the
executive producer. She’s a wonderful person with whom to collaborate.
